The ROWLEY STRING TRIO...

The Rowley String Trio offers a wide variety of music. We play pieces from the classical, romantic and baroque periods, from the major composers. If your wedding or event has particular music they might wish to hear, the Rowley String Trio will be happy to look it over and consider special selections.

Formerly the Rowley String Quartet, the group has been playing for all occasions since they performed their first wedding in 2001. Located in Springfield, Missouri, this family ensemble, which consists of two violins, and a cello, performs a variety of music, including famous pieces of the classical composers, tangoes, religious and popular compositions.

Studying strings as an addition to their home school program, they have developed a special fondness for the music. They enjoy reading and playing all the composers. Strings have become a big part of their lives and they are very talented.

Two original members are playing with the SMSU Symphony Orchestra, while two others are charter members of the Springfield/Drury University Community Orchestra. As part of their homeschooling activities two of the three players in the quartet practice each day.
